Carmel
model: unknown | manufacture date: circa 2000s?
adopted: circa 2011
A gift from my ice skating friend! I have no idea what brand he is or where he came from, the closest guess the plush community had was a book/plush set where he was the foal of it. One of 2 of my oldest plush.
Zebra
model: Aurora Zebra | manufacture date: circa 2011
adopted: circa 2011-2014
2 of 2 of my oldest plusies! I actually tried to donate him once but my parents kept him stashed away, and we rediscovered him a few years later. I was so glad to still have him. I believe he was bought at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. I washed him and touched his stripes up back in 2020.
Cloud Dancer
model: Douglas Cloud Dancer Horse | manufacture date: 2010s ?
adopted: circa 2011-2014
This is not my OG Cloud Dancer but one I recently re-bought! It actually took me some years to find another one although they seem relatively common right now. I think Cloud Dancer is the most beautiful horse Douglas ever made. I also had Zoe their bigger bay horse, and I re-bought one a few years back, but she didn't stick to me as much as Cloud Dancer. I am so thrilled to have one again, he is just so stunning and very soft too!
Aurora
model: Wild Republic Beanie Tabby Cat | manufacture date: circa 2010s
adopted: OG - circa 2011-2014, New - Feb 2026
This little kitty is actually not the OG and one I rebought recently, but I had to search for YEARS to find one! Luckily I found this one and the orange tabby version within days of eachother and for about $20 each. Her name was Aurora and she was originally bought at the Joann Fabrics by my house in Wasilla, AK. I spilled green bean juice on her and then tried to spray perfume to make it better so she smelled like beans and perfume. I don't remember what happened to the original, but this one was super duper hard to find! I never knew the brand and I searched high and low probably as long as I've been collecting so since 2020/21
Caribou
model: Arctic Circle Enterprises Caribou | manufacture date: circa 2010s
adopted: circa 2010s
This guy I've had my whole life! I was born and raised in small town Alaska so this guy was purchased at a Walmart! This style of Arctic Circle Enterprises/Alaska Friends plush was manufactured by Dakin!
Lorikeet
model: Wild Republic Lorikeet | manufacture date: circa 2010s
adopted: circa 2010s
This pretty bird was bought at the San Diego Zoo after we visited their "Lorikeet Landing" exhibit where you could go into the aviary and feed real lorikeets! The reason I kept it for so long was because THE WINGS WEREN'T SEWN DOWN!! I HATED and still hate to this day when bird plush are made with sewn down wings. Absolute disgrace and NOT fun to play with. I had SO much fun making this guy flap and fly around my house. I think he's higher quality than the one Wild Republic still makes too.
